Tyler Town: Early December

I have no clue how several weeks seem to pass between posts sometimes. I always tell people I am amazed at how fast these things (babies) grow, and looking at the pictures reminds me how much Tyler has been doing over the last month or so. Since we last checked in, Tyler has had some big events happen in his life. Over a matter of days, he transitioned from hating finger foods to thinking Cheerios are the most wonderful thing in the world. We'll have to get a video posted of him eating them, because it is pretty comical to watch him pick one up, simultaneously open his mouth and then stick his entire hand in his mouth for five seconds to ensure that he doesn't drop his food. Along with Cheerios, TK enjoys green beans, bread, bananas, avocado, veggie mum-mums, organic banana puffs, and peanuts. Just kidding on the peanuts. We're not that bad of parents.
Also, our little guy got sick for the first time. He got a little case of the croup before Thanksgiving, but he was a complete trooper and handled it like a champ. Tyler had a great time in Hilton Head for Thanksgiving. While we are most thankful to have a beautiful, healthy little man, Tyler says he's most thankful for his yellow elephant toy.
On the mobility front, he's still a belly scooter and we really don't anticipate him to crawl. He gets around very well on his belly and doesn't appear interested in altering his technique. As you'll see in the next post, he also got to meet Santa Claus for the first time as well. Here are the pictures from the last few weeks.
